Lauren Fraser our Big Winner $300 in Chiropractic Care from Sowing Wellness
"Thank you so much for organizing this epic event! Everything was so well done and this was a huge blessing to my family and so many others. Spreading the word!" Lauren Fraser

“The cognitive and physical development of infants and children is influenced by the health, nutrition, and behaviors of their mothers during pregnancy and early childhood. Breast milk is widely acknowledged to be the most complete form of nutrition for most infants, with a range of benefits for their health, growth, immunity, and development”(Healthy People, 2020).
Our black babies and mama's are dying at alarming rates. Home visits, physical and mental health education and support, along with fitness coaching and guidance are imperative to us changing our trajectory. Access to healthy foods in our community. Access to above average health care. Access to EDUCATION! Beyond just saying eat a healthy diet! A healthy diet means something different to each of us based on our education and our access to REAL LIVE FOOD.
R&G Family Grocers (Mobile Food Truck, Serving our North Tulsa Food Desert)
catered our event with YUMMY LIVE FOOD! THANK YOU! R & G Grocers
We are celebrating the best food for all babies! Breast milk!!!! We also want to bring awareness to the disparities in the number of black women who breastfeed. So we held our event during Black Breastfeeding Week! If we can increase our numbers as a nation and normalize breastfeeding nationwide we will all benefit!! It takes a village!! Every human baby deserves human milk!!!!!
Together we can help end disparities not only in black women, but in all of us, with quality education and therapeutic support. Birth is a blessing for all women, no matter their race or socioeconomic status. “Behold, Children are a heritage from the Lord, the fruit of the womb a reward” (Psalm 127:3)
